Professional Dog Walking Visit Includes:
🥱  Working long hours? Any day of the week, we offer mid-day walks for clients who would like their dog to get regular exercise but have trouble providing it themselves, due to busy work schedules and long days at the office. We also feed and play with your pet during this time.
👵  Are you an elderly pet owner who enjoys the companionship, but can’t manage daily walks or exercise?
🐩  Do you have a puppy full of pent-up energy? Or an ill or an older dog that just likes to be let outside into the yard?
🥇All Ages  All Breeds   Our services are great for very active dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, and ones that just need extra attention.

Leashed Dog Walks
Corks Critter Care Home & Pet Sitting Services only does private on-leash dog walks. Dog walks can be of any length of time in increments of 30 minutes.
☁️  Weather cancellation due to conditions such as pouring rain, blizzards, blowing snow, colder than -15C or above 25C, will result in letting your dog outside to do its business only. This temperature and weather restriction is for the safety and well-being of your pet and our pet sitters.
💲  Rates vary according to the walk's length of time, how many dogs, and location (driving distance).
Note: We also provide Dog Letouts as several dogs are not in need of a walk but must go outside to relieve themselves and get some fresh air to break up the long day that you're away.  Please learn more here.

Dog Let Outs

OBJECTIVE:  For dog potty breaks, attention and to get some fresh air to break up the long day that you're away.

Dog Let Outs

Professional Dog Let Out Visits Includes:

    • Great for all ages; seniors to puppies.
    • Several dogs are not in need of a walk but must go outside to relieve themselves and get some fresh air to break up the long day that you're away.
    • Great for senior dogs that can't hold their bladder.
    • Dog Let Outs can be of any length of time in increments of 20 minutes.
    • Feed your pets with precise instructions.
    • Provide fresh drinking water for pets.
    • Wash food/water bowls, as needed.
    • Let outside and play with your pets if pets enjoy it.
    • Can administer pills, injections, liquid medications, topicals, and other special care upon request and instructions.
    • Dog waste removal from walk or yard (disposing on owners' instructions; additional fee).
    • Get medical treatment in case of illness, a veterinarian on-call, or emergency services.
    • Daily brushing is available upon request.
    • Weather conditions such as pouring rain, blizzards, blowing snow, colder than -15C or above 25C, will result in letting your dog outside to do its business only. This temperature and weather restriction is for the safety and well-being of your pet.
    • A note will be left after every visit session to verify the services provided, the animal’s behavior, and any pertinent information owner should know.
    Even if you’re not leaving home, there may be instances where Cork can be of service. Unusual working hours or lengthy illnesses may make it difficult to properly care for your pet. Please call to discuss how Cork can help.

Professional Puppy Play Time Visit Includes:

🐛  No exposure to other dogs diseases when their immune system is still developing.  Keeping your puppy at home prevents unwanted exposure to worms, ticks, parvo, kennel cough and other diesease puppies are more suseptable to in day care and kennel setting.

Depending on their age, puppies have a hard time being at home for more than a few hours and need to releave their bladder and receive companionship while you’re away at work.  How often should you let your dog out to go potty?   (rulle of thumb: 2 months every 2-3 hours then add 1 hour each month; 6 months and beyond every 6-8 hours)
  • We spend time with puppies, giving them potty breaks, cleaning up accidents, feedings, and most importantly offering mental and physical enrichment with socialization/playtime.
  • Your newspaper and mail will be brought inside, as well as any packages left at your door.

  • Radios or televisions can be turned on or off as a crime deterrent and for pet companionship.

How do I sign up as a new client? 

3 Steps to Services

1. Contact Us

Contact us by filling out a form to become a new client or request a quote.

Once you have completed filling out the form or calling us we will schedule your Initial Orientation Visit before your departure.  

2. Initial Orientation Visit
  • An in-home visit with pet and owner prior to contracted service with a key pickup/payment agreement.

  • When you register online or call Corks Critter Care, she arranges a visit to your home shortly before you leave.

  • Initial Orientation Visit is required prior to reservations for all new clients.
3. Upon Your Return
  • When you return home please log in to  Corks Critter Care Pet Care App to confirm that your pet(s) are back in your good care, and services will be discontinued.
  • When you return home you can also call Corks office at  403 807-6866
  • We will return your key if desired or keep the key in a safe for the next time your in need of our services.
