How long have you been in business?
Corks Critter Care was founded in early 1999 and officially licensed in 2000.
Our clients have been trusting us to care for their pets and homes since 2000.
Is CCC and its staff licensed, bonded, and insured?
Absolutely 🙂 We will be happy to provide you the information during our new client meeting (Initial Orientation Visit).
Initial Orientation Visit:
Do you provide references upon request?
Yes, and many veterinarians in Calgary and Airdrie refer their clients to us. We are very greatful for all referals and have a rewards program in place
What are your rates?
Our rates are fair and competitive and there are many variables we take into consideration when providing a quote. For example, the travel distance, number of animals, medical needs, the time needed to complete a steller service, etc. Get your custom quote today!
Why do we need an Initial Orientation Visit before services start?
To familiarize ourselves with your pets and home. It’s a time for your animals to meet a Corks Critter Care Custodian and exchange necessary details. You show us where all the important items and rooms are to care for your pets and home. We tailor your pet care needs during this visit.
- When you register online or call Corks Critter Care, she arranges a visit to your home shortly before you leave.
- Initial Orientation Visit is required prior to reservations for all new clients.
Who will be entering my home?
During the initial visit you will meet your pet sitter. All of CCC pet sitters are trained online and on-the-job, have a criminal background check and are certified in pet first aid. Please read our policies regarding third-party visitors.
🦜 Our goal is to keep your pets and home safe and secure.

Initial Orientation Visit Registration Fee ($20)
💲 A registration fee that covers the initial meeting and interview with your sitter (CCC Custodian). This is a one-time charge per Custodian. This is an important time for both parties to get to know each other and could take up to 30 mins. If you use our service this fee it will be applied toward your service.
🤝Initial Orientation Visits are also necessary if an existing client moves to a new residence, wants us to meet a new pet, or requests an optional meeting with a new Custodian.
How often can you visit my pets for pet sitting?
That all depends on your pets needs.
😸Cats are usually good with just one visit per day but if they have medical/medicine needs or require can food we recommend two visits. We can tailor the visits, for example, visit every day but come twice a day every other day.
🐶Dogs need a minimum of two visits a day. Usually, they require three to four visits to keep them healthy and happy.
All other animals if in cages or in a aquarium are visited daily or every other day.
